Net zero from 2050
replacement of all fossil fuels
55% reduction in energy consumption per m2 compared to 2010
Politically desirable buildings cannot be found in sufficient numbers
Switzerland has a total of 1.8 million. 1.25 million buildings were built before 2000 (70%)
Switzerland will grow by 1.5 to 2.43 million people over the next 25 years.
The age quotient will rise to 46.5% over the next 25 years, and Switzerland will have an additional 2 million (4.85 million in total) pensioners.
Meeting these challenges requires stronger construction activity and sustainable project development. We therefore rely on modern technologies and CO2 compensation and build high-quality living space.
We calculate the CO2 emissions of all buildings we build. We then plant trees that absorb the same amount of CO2 over the next 50 years. In this way, we compensate for emissions in the first life cycle of the building.
On this map, you will find both our real estate projects and the places where we have planted trees to compensate.
